Macon-Bibb Commissioner Jones to Hold Public Forum on Violence

Thursday, August 12th, 2021

District 4 Commissioner Mallory Jones will hold a Macon Violence Prevention (MVP) Public Forum from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Methodist Home for Children (304 Pierce Avenue.)

“I want the people of District 4 to know we’re listening,” says Commissioner Jones. “The first step to reducing crime in Macon-Bibb is to listen to our constituents, and share ideas about the best ways to combat it. We have to work together.”

If you have been unable to attend any of the forums but would still like your voice heard, you can fill out an online and anonymous survey by clicking here.

So far, hundreds of people have attended nearly a dozen public forums and events aimed at sharing concerns, ideas, and solutions for the violence that plagues our community.
