“This is one of the chances for our elected officials to hear directly from people on what they see as the causes of violent crime in our community, and to identify the groups, organizations, and resources that are ready to join Team Macon-Bibb in finding solutions,” says Commissioner Tillman. “We are inviting everyone out to these forums because we cannot do this alone. We need your opinions, your efforts, and your support if we are to make every neighborhood safe.”
“Violent crime affects each and every one of us, and that’s who it will take to bring about real change and ensure we are all safe wherever we go,” says Mayor Miller. “I hope you will attend one or more of these forums to let us know what needs to be addressed and what resources are available.”
