Leadership Baldwin seeks RFPs for Class Project
Monday, June 7th, 2021
The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce’s leadership program, Leadership Baldwin, is requesting proposals (RFPs) for its 2021-22 class project, which will allow the class participants to partner and collaborate with a local, nonprofit Chamber member.
The chosen project will expose class participants to critical community issues, while simultaneously providing them with team-building and leadership development opportunities. In return, the nonprofit will be able to leverage the class’s wide range of industry and professional experience in a collaborative manner to produce a measurable difference for them and their beneficiaries.
“We are excited about this opportunity for the chosen nonprofit, the class and the community,” said Kara Lassiter, Leadership Baldwin Coordinator. “This is our first year of doing a class project like this. We wanted to find a way for the participants to not only learn more about our wonderful community, but also a way for them to give back.”
Proposals must be submitted online no later than Monday, August 2. To review the RFP guidelines and submit your proposal, please visit https://milledgevillega.com/leadership-baldwin-rfps/.
Leadership Baldwin was created out of the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce in 1981 to cultivate the talents and knowledge of civic-minded citizens who aspire to participate in shaping the future of their community. Over the course of the 8-month program, the participants will attend one class per month in addition to completing the class project. The classes highlight various aspects of the community from higher education to healthcare to economic development to public safety.
