Coliseum Health System Expands Visiting Hours

Tuesday, April 20th, 2021

Starting Monday, April 19, Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital will expand visiting hours to 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day. For the safety of hospital patients, staff and other guests, the hospital will continue to perform temperature checks and screen visitors for COVID-19 symptoms. A mask can be provided at the door if needed, and it must be worn during your entire visit.

The hospital system will continue to follow these visitation policies:

•       Patients admitted to the hospital can have ONE visitor during visiting hours (8 am – 8 pm).

•       Emergency Room patients can have ONE visitor 24/7 unless the decision has been made to admit, then visiting hours of 8am-8pm will apply.

•       Labor/Delivery or Post-Partum patients can have ONE visitor 24/7.

•       Surgery/procedural patients may have one person accompany them at the time of their procedure.

•       Masks are required and are to be worn everywhere in the hospital, including patient rooms.

•       No visitation is allowed for confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients in all areas.  We recommend and encourage virtual communication with loved ones through the use of digital platforms and apps. Our staff is happy to assist patients and their families with virtual visitation if requested.
