Bibb Zoning Board Approves New Macon Funeral Home, Defers Sardis Church Road Truck Stop

Developers see dollar signs at Macon-Bibb county’s newest interstate exit and industrial hotbed of activity, but neighbors along Sardis Church Road fear more traffic congestion.
At Monday’s Macon-Bibb County Planning and Zoning Commission, about a half-dozen people signed up to speak about a proposed new truck stop across from the Love’s on the southbound side of Interstate 75.
