Macon Middle Georgia Black Pages Announces Plans for 2021-2022 Edition

Wednesday, January 27th, 2021

The Macon Middle Georgia Black Pages (MMBP) is proud to announce that plans are underway to produce the 2021-2022 edition of this publication. This edition will include both a hard copy and electric version, which feature more than 1600 Black-owned businesses throughout Central Georgia.  Alex Habersham, Publisher of The Black Pages, extends his thanks to the Central Georgia community for their unwavering support.  Habersham adds that “for over 30 years, The Black Pages’ has experienced a vast amount of support of our sponsors, advertisers, and other community champions.”

Each year, Habersham selects a theme for the publication.  The theme for the 2021-2022 edition will feature Black businesses from the surrounding counties that have substantially impacted the economy or services in the counties of Houston, Baldwin, Lauren, Twiggs, Crawford, Wilkinson, Monroe, Peach, and Jones. This featured section of The Black Pages is one of the most popular highlights of the publication – as it is empowering to see how local business owners/organizations are enhancing quality of life amenities for the residents in their communities.  In prior years, we have featured Nonprofit Organizations, spotlighted Young Entrepreneurs/Professionals, and focused on the community leadership of the Divine Nine membership (i.e., major Black fraternities and sororities) along with several other community highlights.

The Black Pages has served as the premier resource for emphasizing the important role that African American consumers play in the economic development of our community. Central Georgia has been publicly noted as the 47th largest African American Consumer Market in the country.  Moreover, the continued demand for a publication of this type reinforces the principle that when one segment of the population begins to do better economically and become self-sufficient, the entire community generally benefits.

Business owners and organizational leaders are encouraged to advertise in this upcoming edition. Our rates are very competitive and include a comprehensive, cost effective and highly efficient suite of advertising services in the publication, website, e-blasts and various social media sites.  There is an option for everyone and every budget!

Habersham further adds that “the goal of The Black Pages is to build Middle Georgia’s general community economically by promoting, enhancing, and increasing the revenue of the businesses.    With continued support of the residents, we can continue the proud 30 year tradition of meeting this goal!”
