11th Annual Glad Rags Roaring 20’s Golf Tournament
Friday, November 6th, 2020
Registration is open for the United Way of Central Georgia and The Gibson Family Foundation 11th Annual Glad Rags Roaring 20’s Golf Tournament. The Tournament will start at 11:00 am on Friday, December 4th at the beautiful Club at River Forest in Forsyth, Georgia. Proceeds from the tournament will support Central Georgia families in need during the holidays through The Merrie Christmas Project and The Gibson Family Foundation.
The Glad Rags tournament is an annual favorite of area golfers, particularly due to the participants wearing their favorite 1920’s inspired golf attire. In addition to standard tournament awards, the coveted “Best Dressed” trophies for men and women inspire very creative outfits for area golfers. Knickers-clad players will also receive a free mulligan!
“My family can’t thank you enough or begin to express to you how blessed and fortunate you made us feel. Because of your gift to us, we have vowed this year to save money and sponsor a child in need this Christmas. I want to teach my kids, no matter how bad your situation is there is always someone less fortunate than you are,” said the Robinson family, a former benefactor of tournament proceeds.
