Wednesday, September 9th, 2020
United in Pink, Central Georgia’s Local non-profit breast cancer organization, has awarded nearly $70,000 in financial assistance through their Pink Bridge Financial Assistance Program to breast cancer patients for medical and household expenses including mortgage and utility payments, as well as providing meals, grocery and gas cards. With grant funding provided by the W.T. Anderson Charitable Trust and The Thomas C. Burke Foundation, United in Pink has been able to continue programs that lessen the physical, emotional, and financial distress a breast cancer diagnosis brings to a family.
