WHAT: NewTown Macon’s annual Tour of Progress is a tour of downtown Macon that provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse of current, completed, and future downtown projects. This year’s Tour of Progress will be presented as a self-guided tour in order to prioritize the health and safety of participants. The Tour begins at Fall Line Brewing Co. where tour-goers can pick up a map that includes 19 tour stops between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Decals with QR codes will be placed on the sidewalk in front of each tour stop with a link to exciting information about the featured project or business. Volunteers will be stationed along the tour route to help tour-goers move in the right direction and to answer questions. 

Upon completing the tour, participants can return to Fall Line Brewing Co. for a FREE outdoor, socially distant reception in Fall Line Brewing Co.’s new outdoor beer garden on Plum Street. At 7:00pm, the Partners in Progress Awards ceremony will begin in the beer garden. Partners in Progress awards are given to individuals, businesses, and organizations that have made a positive impact in downtown Macon over the last year.

WHEN:  Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Self-guided tours will take place between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. The Partners in Progress Awards Ceremony will begin at 7:00pm. 

WHERE:  Tours will begin and end at Fall Line Brewing Co. (567 Plum Street). The Partners in Progress Awards ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in Fall Line Brewing Co.’s recently completed beer garden at 7:00pm.
