Update from Perry Chamber President
Thursday, August 6th, 2020
Good morning! I would like to take a couple minutes to give you a look into the Perry Chamber and what's happening on 900 Carroll Street.
As 2020 continues to be a year of firsts and uncertainties, the Perry Chamber is here for you and your business. We know your quality of life depends a great deal on the quality of your business. We are working to continue to build programs around just that!
Along with the many ways we currently support our members we are rolling out new programs and initiatives!
One is a mentor program within our membership. As new members join we will work to engage them in valuable conversations with current members, with the end goal of getting plugged-in and to reach their business goals.
Now more than ever, we want to make sure we continue to connect our members to enhance their business. We are revamping programs through current committees that will help our sales people with leads and foster current business relationships and create new ones. The face behind the business and the people in the Perry Chamber are what make it so special. We will continue to provide opportunities to show the who behind the why.
Next up is our Diversity Initiative that begins this month to ensure we are involving and representing all businesses within our membership to best benefit our overall business community.
We have also opened up productive communication with our community partners as we continue to work towards a common goal of growing our businesses and growing our community.
This year has forced us to adapt and discover new ways to promote our members digitally. We are excited to continue to work on digital projects that we will be rolling out over the coming months! It will be fun and entertaining, we promise!
Last but not least, this year has definitely put a damper on our special events but we continue to adjust and persevere through. I am excited to give you a sneak peek on a new event we are planning that will support and drive business to our local restaurants! I can't give away all the details just yet but mark your calendars to be in Perry and eat local during the weeks of November 5-14, 2020. More details to come!
Sometimes the Chamber work cannot be captured by a photo but we are here constantly developing our program of work to best represent and support you!
