Wesleyan to Hold Virtual Information Sessions for Graduate Programs June 9th
Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO
Wednesday, May 27th, 2020
Wesleyan College invites you to ZOOM a virtual information session about graduate programs on Tuesday, June 9 at 6:00PM (RSVP: www.wesleyancollege.edu/graduate). Join us to learn about Wesleyan’s three fast-track hybrid graduate programs designed for working professionals: Executive MBA, Master’s of Early Education, Applied Psychology. From the start we have intentionally kept our classes small. Not only do students enjoy a close, personal relationship with professors, but also with a tight-knit cohort of like-minded professionals. Today, getting a social education while practicing social distancing is more important than ever before.
Our programs include online courses for student flexibility as well as Wesleyan's signature seminar-style traditional classes on campus evenings and on weekends. All classes are taught by full-time faculty with real world professional experience and outstanding academic credentials. Our graduate degree programs are open to men and women.
Wesleyan's fast-track 18-month Executive MBA program is designed for professionals with at least five years of experience in the workforce. The flexible cohort schedule and all-inclusive tuition costs make the program a perfect fit to continue a student’s education without putting career and family life on hold. Students spend 10-14 days studying outside the United States under an intense itinerary with top global business leaders learning how business practices in their countries differ from those in America. Not all MBA programs offer a study abroad option, but we plan to continue offering it every year to places such as China, Rome, Russia, Dubai, or Brazil.
Applied psychology with a concentration in industrial-organizational psychology is a fast growing field that applies psychological research to the workplace in order to make organizations more productive and profitable, and also to improve the well-being of employees. Students learn how jobs are defined and staffed, how teams work together, how to increase employee health and satisfaction, and how to reduce conflicts and problems. We pride ourselves on small classes and close personal interactions with faculty. Our 18-month fast-track program combines online learning and engaging on-campus classes for student flexibility. On-campus classes meet in the evening and not on weekends. Professors are committed to helping students who move to the Macon area find suitable employment with one of our local business partners.
For women and men who already have an undergraduate degree and teaching certification, Wesleyan’s 14-month fast-track master's of elementary education program combines online learning and engaging classroom time to fit a working classroom teacher’s busy schedule. Our small classes allow for close personal interactions with faculty. Every student has individualized, one-on-one instruction sessions with the program director. The all-inclusive tuition includes the cost of textbooks and a trip to the renowned Ron Clark Academy.
We encourage you to attend an upcoming information session via ZOOM to learn more about our graduate programs on Tuesday, June 8 / 6:00PM.
