Since its establishment in 1879, Georgia Military College (GMC) has been a recognized leader providing a character-based higher education, improving students’ personal well-being and giving them hope for a brighter future. The institution has been recognized by TheBestSchools.org as #1 in Georgia, #14 in the nation, for their rankings of the 50 Best Community Colleges in the United States.
In addition to offering Bachelor of Applied Science degree programs, GMC has transfer agreements with 49 four-year colleges and universities so that if desired, any GMC student can continue their education at another school with ease. The education GMC affords students demonstrates the value GMC adds to the higher education environment in Georgia, and beyond.
“Our goal is to provide hope and opportunity for each and every individual that wants to earn an education, which is why our number one priority is student success,” said GMC President, Lieutenant General William B. Caldwell, IV. “I’m truly grateful for the faculty and staff who work hard every day to provide an environment where our students thrive. This accolade is a testament to what we do at GMC.”
