Coliseum Northside Hospital is pleased to welcome Celia Covington, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CPHQ as the Chief Nursing Officer.  In this role, Covington will oversee all nursing operations for the hospital.
 
Covington has been with HCA Healthcare since 2018 where she served at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin as a case manager and clinical rehabilitation specialist. She has over 30 years of experience in hospital and home health practice, including a strong surgical background and 10 years of executive leadership experience as a Director of Nursing.
 
Covington earned a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a focus in leadership and management from Walden University in 2014.  She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College & State University.  She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a Nurse Executive Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in addition to certification from the National Association for Healthcare Quality. She and her husband have two children and two grandchildren.
