Wednesday, September 25th, 2019
There are numerous ways to implement SEO throughout your website – from keywords to backlinks, alt text to images. But, as the saying goes, “Content is King” and there’s a reason why that’s true! Keep reading to discover three simple tips to improve your website’s content with SEO in mind:
Write Relevant Content
The content you write matters more than anything. If you have a stunning website with the latest features but you don’t have content that is relevant to your audience, you won’t have an audience. When you write your website content, keep in mind a few tips:
Write 3-4 sentence paragraphs that are intriguing, informative, and to the point.
The most important pages of your website should be at least 300 words.
Make sure your brand voice is consistent throughout your writing.
Implement Keywords on Every Website Page
There must be a rhyme and reason to your website content. This rhyme and reason boils down to the keywords you choose. Throughout your website, you should implement relevant keywords or keyword phrases that your target audience is regularly searching for on search engines. For example, if you’re an allergist who treats asthma patients, “asthma symptoms” or “asthma triggers” are two keyword phrases that would be great to strewn throughout your website content. Make Content Updates Regularly
Instead of re-writing your service and product pages each month, simply write and publish informative blogs about what you offer! Many customers find a company’s website through their blog page. Monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly blogs establish your company as a leader in your industry to both your target audience and search engines.
