Thursday Aug. 22, 2019 was a typical day at the A-OK Portables office in Macon. Orders to fill. Invoices to send out. Phone calls to answer. Turns out, one of those calls was from a Producer with the hit TV show, American Idol. They ordered 4 portable sanitation units from A-OK to be delivered to The Macon City Auditorium for the auditions scheduled to take place the next day, Friday Aug. 23.

“We never know who will be on the other end of the line, ordering port a potties!” exclaims Celise Taylor, who handled the incoming call. “What an awesome feeling it was to answer the phone and speak with a Nationally Recognized TV show producer!” Ms. Taylor says at first she thought it was a friend
playing a practical joke “but when they gave me the credit card information I figured it was for real.”

A-OK Portables LLC is the largest family owned provider of portable sanitation in Middle Georgia. Owned
by Ms. Lee Insley and her husband Mark Insley, the company provides liquid and solid waste removal.
