Carol Arflin Joins PFB Lending Team

Planters First Bank (“PFB”) is pleased to announce that Carol Arflin has joined our Lending Team, as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender.
Carol will be based in the Cordele Office located at 1620 East 16th Avenue.

She has extensive experience in creating strong, lasting banking relationships which fits our model here at PFB."
For the past four years, Carol has served as City President of the Vienna, GA market for South Georgia Banking Company. Before this, she served as Chief Credit Officer, member of Board of Directors, and Secretary to the Board with Bank of Dooly for seven years. Additionally, Carol held multiple lending and leadership roles with Flag Bank and Citizens Bank during her twenty- four-year tenure as the region’s Senior Credit Officer, Dooly County President, and Regional President.
Over the last thirty-five years, Carol’s banking experience has afforded her the opportunity to focus on agricultural and commercial lending, risk assessment, and problem loan management while working in a community banking environment.
Carol is a member and serves as Chairman of Finance at Unadilla First Baptist Church and also serves on the Board of Directors of The Gateway Center, Inc. in Cordele. She was born, raised, and currently resides in Dooly County with her husband, Steve.
