The Alzheimer’s Association is Central Georgia residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Middle Georgia State University in Macon.

On Walk day, participants will honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease with Promise Flowers during the poignant Promise Garden Ceremony – a moving display of hope to represent the personal reasons participants join together to fight Alzheimer’s.

"I am beyond amazed at the continued support and generosity of our Central Georgia community”, added Sheldon Huldin, co-chair, 2019 Central Georgia Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  “They support worthy causes like the Walk to End Alzheimer's.  I will fight for a cure for the rest of my days because I not only lost my mom to this awful disease but I fight for all of the people living with it now.  I own 1st Class Cleaning Service and we support the search for a cure," he added

In addition to the two-mile walk, participants will enjoy local vendors, a DJ and children's area.
