Bibb County School District's Executive Officer Installed as GAEL President

Dr. Jesse Davis, the District’s Executive Officer of Secondary Education, was recently installed as the president of the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL). GAEL is a leadership development organization that serves all of Georgia’s public schools.

Davis is starting his first year in Bibb County after serving as a school-level administrator for 16 years. He spent 12 years as principal of Feagin Mill Middle School, which became a Lighthouse School to Watch under his leadership in 2016. He was previously chosen as Georgia’s National Distinguished Principal in 2013.
