Coliseum Northside Hospital will offer a free seminar for those who have questions about wounds that will not heal on their own.  The seminar is titled Help for the Non-Healing Wound and will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:00 p.m.  Dr. Patrick Narh-Martey will discuss the causes of non-healing wounds as well as the treatment options that are recommended.
 
Dr. Narh-Martey said, “An estimated 6.5 million people in the US suffer with wounds that are not healing well.  A non-healing or chronic wound is at risk for infection that can lead to serious conditions and even the loss of a limb.  There are steps you can take to reduce your risks and heal the wound.”
