Middle Georgia State University’s streamlined initiative that offers degree programs through the University’s Online Campus- launches this fall.
 
Courses offered through MGA Direct will last eight weeks instead of the traditional 15-week semesters, allowing working adults to make steady progress toward their degrees while taking one or two courses online per term.
 
MGA Direct programs will allow students from anywhere in the world to pursue selected degrees online from Middle Georgia State University.
 
 “Middle Georgia State has offered degrees online for years; MGA Direct gives us the focus and structure to create new pathways towards a degree,” said Dr. Jon Anderson, the University’s provost.  “This program encourages us to more carefully consider the needs of students who need the flexibility and convenience afforded them by programs offered online.”
 
Tuition is the same for all MGA Direct students, regardless of state residency. Middle Georgia State is the most affordable public university in Georgia, with students able to earn a bachelor’s degree for about $20,000 at current tuition and fee rates. Tuition and fees for one MGA Direct class (three credit hours) is $561. For two classes, tuition and fees total $1,076.
 
MGA Direct also offers continuous admissions. That means a prospective student can apply at any time and be ready to start at the beginning of the next eight-week term. There is no need to wait for the beginning of a particular semester to apply.

•             Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies

•             Bachelor of Applied Science in Technical Management

•             Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aviation Science and Management

•             BS in Business Administration

•             BS in Criminal Justice

•             BS in Health Services Administration

•             BS in Information Technology

•             BS in Psychology
