Lane Closure at I-475 Northbound at the I-75 Junction Over the Next Two Weekends for Ongoing Bridge Work

Construction crews will be working on the concrete slabs approaching the Interstate 475 northbound bridge at the Interstate 75 junction in Monroe County over the next two weekends. To accommodate the workers, a lane of traffic will be closed at that location from 10:00 p.m. Friday, May 3 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 and also from 10:00 p.m. Friday, May 10 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2019.
Law enforcement officers will be at the work site for traffic control. Motorists should watch for signage in advance of the closure, be alert to the traffic and work crews, and be aware of possible back-ups especially during the afternoon hours on the affected Saturdays and Sundays.
