On Thursday, February 21st, the 2018-19 Youth Leadership Baldwin (YLB) class toured the State Capitol as part of this 8-month program as well as met several state and local representatives.

The YLB program is conducted under the direction of the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce and gives high school juniors the opportunity to acquire and broaden their knowledge of not only professional & social etiquette, but also of local government, business and civic activities. The purpose of the program is to teach students leadership skills, increase their social and professional network and create community awareness, so they have a better understanding of the community resources, opportunities, issues and other factors influencing Baldwin County’s future.
