District 6 Commissioner Joe Allen is hosting a series of three Town Hall Meetings as a way to let people know what is currently happening in Macon-Bibb. It will also provide people the means to ask questions and express concerns directly to the departments and officials in charge.

The meetings will be held on March 28 at Lizella Baptist Church (2950 South Lizella Road), April 4at Church of Christ (5859 Thomaston Road), and April 11 at Mt. Pleasant Church (5455 Mt. Pleasant Church Road).
 
“People need to hear from the people they elected and the people hired to serve our community,” says Commissioner Allen. “These meetings are a great way to hear and be heard, and I hope people come out to make sure we’re doing what needs to be done.”
