Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler said Thursday that Warner Robins added jobs during November.
 
At the same time, Warner Robins increased its number of employed residents. Warner Robins maintained annual growth in most critical measures for the three-county metropolitan statistical area (MSA).    
 
“This really has been a great year for Georgia,” Butler said. “Across the state we continue to add jobs and find people to fill them. We’ve routinely set records. There is much to be thankful for this holiday season.”
 
The unemployment rate for November, at 4.4 percent, stayed the same over the previous month and year. That rate was highest among the 14 MSAs.
 
The labor force in Warner Robins rose by 26 in November to reach 85,833. That number is up by  920 over the past year – an average monthly increase of about 77.
 
Warner Robins added 69 employed residents in November, pushing the total to 82,085. The number is up by 872 for the year, or about 73 per month.
 
Jobs grew by 200 in November to 75,100. The job total in Warner Robins is up 800 over the year – an average monthly increase of 67.
 
Claims for unemployment insurance increased by 1 percent in November. They were up 187 percent when compared to the same month a year ago.
