Open Streets Macon' Event to Affect Traffic This Sunday

The Georgia DOT is advising motorists in Macon/Bibb County that the "Open Streets Macon' event scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, will affect downtown traffic. The event, organized by Bike Walk Macon, will close traffic on GA 11/US 80/Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Cherry Street from Riverside Drive to Hazel Street from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event invites community members to participate in 'activity hubs' encourages people to bike, walk and skate within the roadway.
When: Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Where: GA 11/US 80/Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Cherry Street from Riverside Drive to Hazel Street
