Mercer Innovation Center will host a Women’s Entrepreneurs Academy Get Started Workshop on Oct. 18, 5-8 p.m., in celebration of Women’s Entrepreneurship Week.

The three-hour workshop, which is free and open to the public, will help participants work together to explore their ideas, learn how to refine their models through meaningful customer feedback and define next steps. Online registration is required.

The workshop is intended for women at any stage of the entrepreneurial process, whether just getting started, stuck on a particular issue or in need of a refresher.

The event is supported by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia Downtown Challenge Grant.

Women’s Entrepreneurship Week, observed during the third week of October, is a nationwide initiative on college campuses to promote women’s entrepreneurship. The inaugural WEW was organized in 2014 by Montclair State University’s Feliciano School of Business in New Jersey.
