Georgia Employers' Association is pleased to announce Fall sessions of our Leadership Training Series. This popular five part course focuses on practical skills and tools that team leaders, supervisors, and lead people need to succeed in today's business environment. Full day workshop sessions begin in Macon on August 15 and continue monthly through December.

"The Leadership Series is always well-attended," states GEA Executive Director, Buddy McGehee. "It's a comprehensive series for new managers that helps them transition into a leadership role. They learn some HR basics, but the workshops key in on valuable skills like coaching, managing conflict, and interviewing. The course is also a great refresher for experienced supervisors that may need to refine their skills."

Topics for each session cover a broad range of leadership and organizational skills required for success as a supervisor or lead person, plus additional modules on recruiting, employee engagement, customer service, and communications. Attendees are encouraged to register for all five workshops, but experienced managers may want to select the sessions that will help them to sharpen specific skills or develop new abilities.

GEA's Leadership Training Series is held in collaboration with Humphries Consulting, Inc. (HCI) HCI's trainers apply more than 50 years of Human Resources knowledge to meet the needs of  diverse audiences, from hourly employees to senior executives.
