Under 100 days remain between now and June 1st. That means the Bacon begin their search for some extra help. The Macon Bacon are looking for interns and part-time workers for their inaugural season.

“We are looking for the best candidates to help our first season be successful.” said Team President Todd Pund, “Our goal is to provide family fun entertainment and we need employees who can help us reach that goal.”

The Bacon are looking for part-time staff for game days during the season. Positions include ushers, ticket takers, security, concessions, bartenders and many others.

“These roles are a very important part of our staff and fan experience.” said Pund. “They will interact with the fans during a game more than anyone else. We will make sure we train every part-time worker in our approach to customer service so everyone has a great time.”

Internships are targeted toward college students interested in gaining experience in the sports industry for future career growth.  The team’s various internships will include: On-Field Entertainment, Marketing, Ticket Operations, Concessions Operations, Partnership Activation and Merchandise/Community Relations.

“These interns will work hand in hand  with our front office staff.” said Pund. “They will get hands on experience on what it is like to work in baseball and how to be successful in it.”
