The volunteer programs of Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital are currently accepting applications for the 2018 Coliseum Health System Volunteer Scholarship Program.  To assist students in their quest to become healthcare professionals, the hospital volunteers award scholarships of $1,000 to deserving graduating high school seniors or post-secondary students pursuing a career in healthcare.  These students may be aspiring nurses, physicians and other health occupation professionals, as well as those interested in healthcare administration.

Interested applicants must complete the Volunteer Scholarship Application, which is available on the “Volunteer” page of our website. Applicants must also submit an essay of 500 words or less explaining why the applicant has selected their desired healthcare profession, submit an official high school or post-secondary school transcript, and submit two sealed letters of recommendation from people unrelated to the applicant.

The documents must be returned to:
Lindsey Mote
Volunteer Office at Coliseum Health System

Application deadline is March 16, 2018.  A committee will select the recipients and winners will be announced in April 2018.  The scholarships will be paid directly to the school the recipient plans to attend in Fall 2018.
