Preparation for City of WR Wide Area Networking Underway

The Development Authority of Warner Robins and the City of Warner Robins has formed a Public‐Private Partnership with ECBI Warner LLC, managed by A2D, Inc. Under this partnership ECBI Warner LLC will build an all fiber optic wide area network connecting the majority of the city’s government facilities. The project will include, but not limited to A) Installing underground conduit by way of directional boring, vibratory plow, saw cut and/or open trench within both private and public right of way; B) installing handhole boxes; C) Installing fiber cable in buried conduit (pull or blow); D) Installing premise systems and cabinets; and E) Restoring disturbed landscape, concrete, and asphalt where required.

A2D will host a Vendor Fair, on January 16, 2018 between 11AM -1PM at the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce. The objective is to create a venue where local vendors will be able to meet with members of the A2D Team to present their capabilities. The Robins Regional Chamber is located at 1228 Watson Blvd.; Warner Robins, GA. 31093.

A2D desires to engage vendors who may provide the following:

Service Fiber Conduit/Cable Installation and Emergency Restoration – Install underground fiber conduit utilizing a vibratory plow and/or trencher within the boundary of private property.  

Right-of-Way Conduit Installation and Emergency Restoration – Install underground fiber conduit using directional boring machine, vibratory plow and/or trencher along public right of way (Georgia DOT, City of Warner Robins, Houston County, etc.)

Landscape Repair – Repair/restore grass, shrubs, and fencing, and general landscape.

Concrete & Asphalt Pavement Repair – Repair/restore concrete curb & gutter as well as concrete/asphalt sidewalks, streets, and driveways.

Concrete & Asphalt Materials Supply – Vendors who provide asphalt, concrete, gravel and related supplies.

Electrical Cabling and Systems Installation and Maintenance – Install & Service power cabling and power systems for network terminal (cabinet) equipment, network operation systems, heating/air systems, and generators.

HVAC Installation and Maintenance – Install & Service HVAC and FM-200 systems for Network Operations Centers, Network Terminal (Cabinets) and other network facilities that require constant cooling.

Fiber Splicing – Install, Splice and Service (Emergency Repair) fiber enclosures along public right-of-way within hand-holds and service splice pedestals as well as within terminal cabinets, customer premises, and network operations facilities.

Premise Equipment Installation and Maintenance – Install and Service premise equipment installed at residential and commercial premises including but not limited to Optical Network Terminal, routers, switches, Set-top-boxes, Wireless Routers, CAT5/6 Data Cabling, HDMI Cabling, RG6 Cabling, and Service Drop Fiber Cabling.

Street Team (Door-to-Door & Events) – Provide door-to-door canvas marketing services placing door knockers, handing out flyers, and engaging residential and commercial premise owners.

Collateral Printing & Distribution – Create, print and distribute marketing collateral such as mailers, door knockers, signage, and flyers.

All vendors will be required to submit their information via A2D’s online vendor registration form prior to attending the Vendor Fair.

All vendors that submitted their information prior to the event will be given priority in speaking with an A2D representative. All vendors who choose to attend, but did not register and submit their information, will be required to complete a printed vendor questionnaire at the event before engaging an A2D representative.

After the vendor fair, the A2D Team will identify any and all vendors who meet our requirements and will engage them accordingly.
