Museum of Aviation Foundation's Board Member Nominated to National Defense Post!

Robert, “Bob” McMahon has been nominated by President Donald J. Trump, to the administration post of Assistant Secretary of Defense, Logistics and Materiel Readiness. He is on the board of directors for the Museum of Aviation Foundation and has chaired the Georgia Invitational Golf Tournament for the past three years.

“General McMahon and his wife Hope have contributed their time, talent, and treasure to the Museum of Aviation Foundation for many years. His demonstrated leadership, not only at the Museum of Aviation Foundation, but in Middle Georgia as a whole, shows that he is the absolute right person for this appointment and we couldn’t be more proud,” said Chrissy Minor, President and CEO of the Museum of Aviation Foundation.

McMahon retired in 2012 from Robins Air Force Base as the Commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center.
