On Thursday, August 24, the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Baldwin Committee held a meet and greet for the Leadership Baldwin alumni to welcome and network the new Leadership Baldwin Class. The event was held from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. at the Legislative Chambers on Georgia Military College’s campus.
Leadership Baldwin was created out of the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce in 1981 to cultivate the talents and knowledge of civic-minded citizens who aspire to participate in shaping the future of their community. The goal of the program is to develop and foster participants’ leadership skills, broaden their knowledge of our community and create networking opportunities with peers, alumni and community leaders.
The Leadership Baldwin Class of 2018 is the 16th class for the program and when they graduate in April 2018, they will be among the 150+ alumni of Leadership Baldwin. This class is a talented group of outstanding and motivated individuals that are ready to emerge themselves into every aspect of our community. These individuals are enthusiastic about Milledgeville-Baldwin County and want to make a difference in our community.
