Provost of the College/Vice President for Academic Affairs

The Provost is the chief academic officer of the College and supervises academic affairs, strategic enrollment management and international programming. Reporting directly to the President, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is the second ranking officer of the College who manages its daily operations.

Qualifications for this position include an earned doctorate, a distinguished record of scholarly achievement meriting appointment as a tenured professor, successful college teaching experience, substantial administrative experience in higher education, demonstrable success in managing diverse projects and people, and substantive experience in program development and assessment. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled. Expected date to begin employment is July 1, 2017.

Executive Director of Strategic Enrollment Management
This position provides leadership for enrollment and retention, including financial aid, working collaboratively with faculty and staff to identify, recruit, and retain students who will benefit from the excellent programs Wesleyan offers. The Executive Director supervises a staff of approximately twelve professionals and reports directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

The Executive Director will have a Masters, Ph.D., or other terminal degree from a regionally-accredited institution, at least five years of experience in strategic enrollment management in higher education, with at least three years of leadership experience, and evidence of successful team building, with commitment to diversity and inclusion.
