Early detection of vein disease is possible through the use of vascular testing procedures. Among vascular diseases, vein disease is more common than arterial disease and coronary artery disease combined and is underdiagnosed leading to significant long term problems.
The use of accurate vascular testing is a key to quality vein care. Many factors contribute to an accurate diagnosis in venous vascular testing: the training and experience of the technologist performing the testing, the type of equipment used, the quality assessment metrics each facility is required to measure and the credentials of the physician who interprets the test, all contribute to a positive patient outcome. IAC is a ‘seal of approval’ that patients and referring physicians can rely on as an indicator of consistent quality care and a dedication to continuous improvement.
Vein Specialists of the South, LLC has been granted an additional three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission in Vascular Testing in the area of Peripheral Venous Testing. The latest accreditation awarded to Vein Specialists of the South, LLC demonstrates the facility’s ongoing commitment to providing quality patient care in vascular testing.
