Macon Arts Alliance Presents "Tea Garden" Exhibit for March

"Tea Garden" debuts at the Macon Arts Alliance on Friday, March 3.
The cherry blossom inspired show celebrates the arrival of spring with colorful collections and whimsical pieces. The curated exhibit features hand-blown glass, encaustic paintings, collage art, hand-built ceramics and original paintings.The group show presents a diverse offering from a dozen prolific artists including Lauren Bausch, Charles Cashwell, Devan Cole,K. Davis, Micah Gougen, Carlynne Harshberger, Kathleen McKenna, Susan Pelham, Bren Powell, Kelly Robertson, Beth Stewart and Tripti Yoganathan. Join Macon Arts Alliance on opening night with a reception from 5-8 p.m. The show will be on display through Friday,March 31. Admission is always free and open to the public.
The spring fete continues with a special Tea Garden Party on Friday, March 24 from 5-8 p.m. Celebrate the First Friday of the 35th annual Cherry Blossom Festival with light refreshments. Admission for this event is also free and open to the public.
