Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, the providers of Venue Management to the Macon Coliseum and Macon City Auditorium, named David Aiello as General Manager of the two venues. Aiello most recently served as Assistant General Manager and Director of Marketing at the Tsongas Center and Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA, where Spectra also provides Venue Management.

Macon-Bibb Mayor Robert Reichert said, “In just a short amount of time, we’ve been impressed with the performance of Spectra in its management of the Coliseum and Auditorium, and I’m delighted to welcome David to Macon-Bibb. I’m positive our entire region will be impressed with the quantity AND quality of performances, shows, and events that will be coming here."

Aiello, a graduate from the University of Louisville, started his career with Comcast Spectacor in 2008 as Assistant Marketing Manager at the Wells Fargo Center, the company’s flagship arena in Philadelphia, PA. During his eight-year career with Spectra, Aiello also served as Marketing Director at the Glen Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, NY; and at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, VA.

In Lowell, Aiello assisted in booking more than 200 events for both venues and cut the city deficit to a loss of $200,000, which is the lowest in the 94-year history of the Auditorium.
