Realtor Lucy Allen is proud to announce Sheridan Solomon & Associates, LLC Realtors is hosting a holiday shoe donation drive for Soles4Souls, a nonprofit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing. New or gently worn pairs of shoes can be dropped off at Sheridan Solomon & Associates, LLC Realtors in Macon, GA, 2618 Riverside Dr., or Sheridan Solomon & Associates, LLC South in Warner Robins, GA, 524 South Houston Lake Road, D-100.

“I strongly encourage everyone in either community to drop by one of our offices and give a pair of shoes to help a person in need this holiday season,” said Allen. “You can drop off shoes Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.”

Soles4Souls aims is to eradicate extreme poverty by 2050. Children every day are prevented from attending school and adults are unable to work as walking becomes unbearable, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty. To date, Soles4Souls has collected and distributed more than 26 million pairs of shoes to those in need in 127 countries around the world and all 50 states in the U.S.

“Every pair of donated shoes counts, and can provide relief today so thousands can succeed tomorrow,” concluded Allen. “Every person in the world should have at least one good pair of shoes, which is one of life’s most basic necessities, and you can help make that happen.”
