Non-Profit leaders can learn how to reach digital audiences at a December workshop provided by the University of Georgia.

Digital Marketing for Non-Profit Leaders is a program offered by the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development. Set for Dec. 1 at Middle Georgia State University in Macon, the day-long program features web-based marketing strategies nonprofit organizations can put to use right away.

University of Georgia Small Business Development Center consultants Richard Crow and Jordan Tippett will lead sessions on online strategy, visual content, Facebook and search engine optimization. Participants will also have an opportunity for networking in the morning. The cost is $145 per person.

“This training provides non-profit leaders with new tools for promoting and marketing their organizations through digital means,” said Fanning Institute Director Matt Bishop. “We are excited about having our SBDC partners work with us as they bring unique expertise to the trainings.”

Nonprofit leadership development is one of four areas the Fanning Institute focuses on. The SBDC offers free consulting and low-cost training for small businesses across Georgia.
