Robins Financial Credit Union is proud to sponsor Team 4941 RoboBibb by contributing $1,000 to FIRST Robotics. They are comprised of school students from all Bibb County high schools and they come together to learn, build and compete. These students gain hands on experience in STEM fields.

Each year the students design, build and test their robot within a six-week time period. The robot created this year had challenge requirements to include traversing over rough ground and rocky terrain, opening gates and passing through the opened gates, picking up a soccer sized foam ball and shooting the ball into a goal, and traveling under a lowered goal. Team 4941 developed a robot with a drive train that combined six oversized wheels, a device that is a combination ball grabber and shooter, as well as an onboard camera for navigation.
