Guard-Buildings, LLC announced plans to open a 23,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County.  The Florida based company manufactures industrial modular shelters and plans to initially hire 25 employees and invest $2,000,000.00.  This facility will be Guard-Buildings’ third manufacturing plant.

For over twenty-three years, Guard-Buildings has supplied high-quality, pre-engineered, all-structural framed, prefabricated guard houses, attendant booths and weather shelters to military, manufacturing, commercial, residential, educational, parks, transportation, and municipal customers. Guard-Buildings’ small pre-assembled industrial quality buildings meet all building codes including Miami-Dade, the toughest in the country. In recent years, Guard Buildings has expanded to other small building opportunities including parking booths, valet booths, ATM Enclosures, smoking shelters, bus stops, Diesel Exhaust Fluid Enclosures enclosures and fire rated pump enclosures.

“We are really excited to get production started in Macon. Macon-Bibb has worked well with us and has a good enthusiastic workforce,” said Guard-Buildings’ President, John Shults.
