Goodwill Fall Job Fair Opens Opportunities with Middle Georgia Employers Today

The Job Connection of Goodwill industries of Middle Georgia will hold its Fall Job Fair from 1-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon. The job fair is free to job-seekers and to potential employers with current job openings.
This job fair will bring together employers and applicants while highlighting the programs available through Goodwill’s Job Connection. More than 30 employers and community resources will be on site to provide information about current job openings in Middle Georgia.
To help job-seekers make the best first impression at the job fair, Goodwill’s Job Connection held three job fair boot camp sessions in Macon and Warner Robins with over 60 attendees. The classes were taught by human resources professionals from businesses represented at the Fall Job Fair, and participants will receive early entry to the job fair.
Employers and community resource partners participating in the job fair include Belk, Blue Bird Body Co., Burruss State Prison, C.A.O.T.T.I., Capitol City Bank, Central State Prison, city of Warner Robins, Easter Seals Southern Georgia, Experience Works, GEICO, Georgia Department of Labor, Georgia Diagnostics Classification Prison, Graphic Packaging International, Houston Healthcare, Kay Jewelers, Macon-Bibb County, Macon State Prison, Modern Woodmen of America, Valley Industrial Products, Waffle House, Helms College and Goodwill Industries.
In 2015, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA proudly provided career services to nearly 25,000 individuals and helped find employment for nearly 6,000. Goodwill’s job fair boot camps were awarded Volunteer Program of the Year by Goodwill International in 2015.
