Silvervine Software has chosen Elafris as the chatbot messaging platform for its insurance software solution suite. This service will help insurers effectively engage with millennials, the fastest-growing consumer group, and a group that prefers to communicate via messaging platforms. Soon, Silverware Software clients will be able to use chatbots, powered by artificial intelligence, to collect payments, suggest supplemental products, and provide claim services in most venues including Facebook Messenger, Snapchat and Skype.
The new chatbot service, which integrates with the Silvervine Software policy administration system, communicates with customers via any device and does not require customers to download an app. Thanks to machine learning capabilities, it interacts intelligently much like a virtual assistant. It can be taught to answer questions, respond appropriately and suggest ancillary coverages and next steps based on the scope of the customer interaction. For example, it can be trained to offer services such as roadside assistance or windshield coverage during auto insurance interactions. This will automate and expedite many aspects of customer service, providing a more intuitive and satisfying DIY experience.
"Chatbots and messengers are the way of the future. We want to be the first insurance software company to offer this innovation to our clients. Elafris was the obvious choice. They are one of the first and only companies operating in the insurance space," says John Baker, VP of Business Development for Silvervine Software. "Our flagship Silvervine PTS V6 product is modular and scalable, easily accommodating multiple states and product lines, changing business models, evolving distribution channels and insurance mergers and acquisitions. It's very fitting for this cutting edge insurance software to also include chatbot messaging."
"We are excited about our partnership with Silvervine Software and their commitment to innovating and transforming the business of insurance," commented Jake Diner, CEO and Founder of Elafris. "Chatbots and messengers will help insurers meet the evolving expectations of the next generation of insurance customers."
