The Museum of Aviation Foundation has named Steve Davison as its interim board chairman after Air Force Colonel (ret.) Dan Penny tendered his resignation to take the helm of the 21st Century Partnership.
“Having served as Board Chairman previously, I know I will have no problem filling in the remainder of the year,” Davison said in a statement. “I look forward to working with the museum team and continuing the positive steps we have made to push this crown jewel of middle Georgia into the future. The stories of the sacrifice made by the men and women of this great nation need to be told in the best possible venue, and the Museum of Aviation provides that vehicle. I accept the challenge!” Davison is the owner and founder of Clean Control Corporation, manufacturer of OdoBan and based in Warner Robins.
“Mr. Davison has been a long-time friend and supporter of the museum and we are honored to have him lead us into the next chapter,” said Museum Foundation President and COO Chrissy Miner. “We are also beyond thrilled for Col. Penny. I know he will bring the same enthusiasm and leadership in his new critical role with the 21st Century Partnership that he brought to the museum.” said Miner.
On Wednesday, the 21st Century Partnership named Penny as its new executive director. Penny served previously for 28 years in the Air Force and 18 years with Lockheed Martin. Penny will begin his new job in August.
