ASP Franchising Welcomes Matt Gresham as New Director of Technical Support

ASP Franchising, the parent company of America’s Swimming Pool Company, announces the expansion of their corporate team, adding Matt Gresham as the new Director of Technical Support. He joined the team on July 5, 2016 and began the role of technical support for all franchise locations. Gresham is responsible for teaching Pool School, a 12-day training program for new franchise owners. His role also includes over-the-phone support and field visits for all franchise locations and assisting the VP of Technical Support.

“I am excited to have Matt join our team,” said Stewart C. Vernon, Founder & CEO of ASP. “His knowledge of pool service and business will be a great asset when helping our franchisees in their pool service business.”

Gresham was born and raised in Columbus, GA. He graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Accounting. Gresham has been in the pool business since he was in high school. He worked at his family’s pool service business in Columbus, GA, named Southland Pools. In 2010, Southland Pools converted to America’s Swimming Pool Company and Gresham continued to work there as Service Manager.

“This opportunity with ASP worked out perfectly for my family because we have been discussing moving to Macon,” said Gresham. “I enjoyed everything my family taught me about their pool business and now I have the opportunity to help other franchisees succeed in their business.”

In addition to his position at ASP Franchising, Gresham enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and watching University of Georgia football games.
