America’s Swimming Pool Company’s Location in Macon Announces New Ownership

The Macon, GA franchise location of ASP - America's Swimming Pool Company, formerly Adam Cochran, Owner/ Operator of ASP Maconowned by Matt Dayton, is now under the ownership of Adam Cochran and Joe Starr. ASP provides swimming pool maintenance and cleaning programs, pool equipment diagnostics, pool repairs, pool supplies, and pool renovations.

Dayton originally joined the company as an employee of ASP Macon in 2002 while completing his senior year at Mercer University, eventually going on to purchase the franchise from company founder Stewart Vernon in 2007. Dayton has left long-lasting relationships with his many customers; which will now be carried on by Cochran and Starr.

Cochran and Starr also co-own ASP locations in Warner Robins, GA, and McDonough, GA. Cochran is full-time operator while Carlie Cochran, Adam Cochran’s wife, serves as the office manager for all three locations.

Adam Cochran, originally born in Kentucky, moved to Macon 19 years ago. In addition to becoming a business owner, he was a golf professional and spent the last 11 years as General Manager of Advanced Disposal. His wife Carlie is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has worked as a paralegal for the past nine years until deciding to join her husband in the swimming pool maintenance and repair business.
