Read United, an initiative of United Way of Central Georgia, is excited to unveil its new website: ReadUnitedCG.org. With the launch of our website, we have opened registration for volunteers who want to make a difference in our community by tutoring K-3rd graders in reading.
We encourage everyone who has a desire to help children improve their reading skills to sign up and become a volunteer! Read United offers two programs: Read2Succeed and AARP Foundation Experience Corps.
Read2Succeed is open to volunteers ages 18 and older who would like to tutor students for at least one hour a week. AARP Foundation Experience Corps is for those 50 and older who are willing to tutor students for at least four hours per week.
