Several students enrolled in Central Georgia Technical College’s Barbering program gave free haircuts to kids last Friday as part of the 7th Annual Houston County Back2School Bash.

Held in Warner Robins each year, the Back2School Bash seeks to provide students school supplies and prepare families for the upcoming year.

Many local organizations participated in the event that saw hundreds attend.

The CGTC Barbering program, a live-work program at CGTC, regularly participates in similar community events. In June, CGTC students provided haircuts at the 8th Annual Steve Harvey Mentoring Program at Camp Grace in Roberta. Together with Steve Harvey’s personal barber, James Thomas, they provided more than 200 haircuts to camp members and mentors.
