Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Since 2009, Little League’s Southeastern Region has been located in Warner Robins and conducted the Little League Baseball and Little League Softball Region Tournaments at Southeast Park since 2010.
These tournaments feature up to eight state champions from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia in each event. These teams bring in hundreds of visitors to our Robins Regional area who sleep in our hotels, eat in our restaurants and visit our area attractions, while watching their teams compete for the tournament championship and advance to a Little League World Series.
Much like the Chamber of Commerce, the Southeastern Region heavily relies on hundreds of volunteers to support and conduct these two tournaments each year. From operating the scoreboard, selling souvenirs, providing spectator assistance or grilling hot dogs, there are a wealth of areas in need and available to those looking to volunteer.
New this year, the Southeastern Region staff is launching a new program to bring in area organizations, groups and businesses looking to support the community and welcome visitors to our area. The Community Concessionaires Volunteer Program provides organizations, groups and businesses an opportunity for their members/staff to volunteer and assist Southeast Park’s concession stand while improving tournament operations.
