Silvervine Software, a leading provider of property and casualty insurance software for carriers and MGAs, announced today that Scott Cross has joined the company as Director of Product Development.

Cross will lead the product development team in the company's quest to equip insurers with leading edge tools to help them effectively compete in the modern world. Silvervine Software has already introduced a direct-to-consumer point-of-sale module, a mobile consumer platform, and business intelligence tools that outperform the capabilities offered by most policy administration systems.

Cross previously served as systems architect for the design and implementation of five separate policy administration systems. Through the course of his 25+ year career in the P&C insurance industry, he has served as a CIO, director of information systems, software developer, and database administrator.
