The Hospital Authority of Monroe County and Navicent Health have agreed to a management relationship that will allow Navicent Health to assume management control over Monroe County Hospital, subject to the Attorney General’s approval and the two hospitals finalizing and executing a joint venture related to outpatient imaging in Forsyth, Ga.

It is anticipated that Navicent Health’s official role with Monroe County Hospital will begin in June of 2016, but interaction between the two organizations is already underway. Navicent Health and Monroe County Hospital are excited about the prospects for their new relationship and the value that it will bring to the community of Forsyth, Monroe County and the surrounding area.
